How to use
- 1. Wash your hands, put on gloves, and place an underpad beneath the bed pan.
- 2. Position the bed pan under the patient and ensure they are comfortable and covered for privacy.
- 3. Allow the patient to use the bed pan, then carefully remove it when finished.
- 4. Clean the patient if needed and empty the contents into the toilet.
- 5. Wash and disinfect the bed pan, allow it to air dry, then remove your gloves and wash your hands.
